Fragile Teaser

The teaser isn’t very interesting if you ask me, but then again, I can’t speak Japanese. Also,  if anyone is interested, the Japanese site updated. You can see it and listen to some of the game’s music here.

DecalGirl Wii Deal

WiiIf you have been looking for a Wii system, but just can’t seem to find one then you are in luck, well sort of. DecalGirl has a limited number of Wiis in stock on their website. The only catch is that one Wii system will set you back a whopping $450. To add a little cushion to that price, they are offering a matching decal set that includes a Wii, Wiimote, and Nunchuck decals. It isn’t an amazing deal, but it’s a better deal than paying $600 on eBay for a stand-alone Wii system.

If anyone is interested then you can order one here.

Amazon Sells 1,400 Wiis In Ten Minutes

Wii Sold OutAccording to CVGAmazon sold 1,400 Wiis in just ten minutes
last week when stock renewed.
With everyone scrambling to get
their hands on a Wii, prices of Wiis
on eBay and other second-hand sites are skyrocketing. Even with Nintendo producing
1.8 million Wii units per months, there still isn’t enough supply for everyone to have one. I think it is time for Nintendo to start producing more Wiis per month. Wiis are constantly sold out in stores and online. I have only seen a few Wiis in the wild during the course of the past year since launch. I guess this just goes to show that the Wii does have lasting power and is here to stay for the long run.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Big BirdI hope everyone had a good Turkey day. I spent mine with my family, then I went over to
my girlfriends house and hung out with them for awhile. It was a lot of fun hanging out and playing
games with them. Anyone have any stories or
anything they would like to share?

On a more serious note, I know a lot of people don’t truly think about what their thankful for(including me), but I would like to encourage everyone reading this to just think for a minute about how many things you have to be thankful for. I know everyone has a lot to be thankful for in their personal lives, but even in gaming, I’m thankful for a lot. What if Miyamoto had never created Donkey Kong or Mario? Would the gaming industry be the same? What if Nintendo didn’t care about innovation? We probably wouldn’t have the Wii or any of its unique games. Well, I don’t know about you guys , but I’m thankful for Nintendo and its amazing developers for creating the games I love to play. Thank you Nintendo for all the wonderful hours of games I’ve gotten to play thoughout the years. You have given me memories that I’ll never forget. For that, I am truly thankful.

By the way, if you have read all of this, then please comment on what you are
thankful for in the gaming industry. I’d like to hear what you have to say.

Fragile Images and Info

Namco Bandai will be releasing a new Wii RPG titled Fragile next year in Japan. The game centers around a young boy named Seto and his adventures to find survivors in a post-apocalyptic world. While gameplay info is thin, it has been
confirmed that you will use the Wiimote as a flashlight to find objects.

I was worried that this would have ended up being a lackluster title, but then I read
that the studio developing this game was Tri-Crescendo, the studio that brought
Eternal Sonata to the 360. After reading that, some of the fear I had about the quality of the game disappeared.

Here are some images from the game.

Use your flashlight to spot wall markings and paintings.

It looks like graphics are going to be a heavy focus in this game.
