It appears the Spectator Mode and Options menu started appearing for most people early this morning (3/12). We’re happy to hear all these positive results, so thanks for posting your success stories! If you’re connecting for the first time today, you may still need to wait up to 24 hours before seeing Spectator Mode.

Glad that Brawl came around just in time for my birthday this year.

Also check out Insecticide, it looks like a great detective style action/mystery that sort of combines platforming action with Ace Attorney type gameplay.

Insecticide, I will be checking this game out tomorrow.

Well, I have to wake up early for work tomorrow, and its almost 3 AM, so I guess I should hit the hay. I will leave you with one more quick update.

Japanese Game Sales

Straight from IGN.com, the recent release of Super Smash Bros Brawlin Japan has sold 500,000 copies which incidentally is the same amount that Super Mario Galaxy did back in November. The difference here is that retailers sold out of 80% stock, far greater than the 20% stock figures managed by Super Mario Galaxy at its launch. An 80% stock depletion likely means sell outs at major retailers. Nintendo will be pumping more stock into the retail channels for Saturday. So will this game outsell Super Mario Galaxy? I believe it more than likely will. Will it trump Halo 3 massively over-hyped sales? Heheheheh…uh no…probably not initially but its gonna interesting. Evidently, this game could be the Wii’s biggest one yet….though I doubt it’ll out sell Wii-Play lol..
