Another awesome video by the AVGN.  This one isn’t as angry as his other stuff.

Perhaps because he is talking about the greatest game series of all time: The Legend of Zelda 

Holy shit, this is frickin cool and this guy is a genius (well to someone stupid like me he is). A couple months ago I made a post about his “Minority Report” style finger tracking using the Wii. This fella Johnny Chung Lee, a Phd graduate student from Carnegie Mellon has been doing some really fancy hacks on the Nintendo Wii since then. In this particular hack, he makes VR header tracker using the wii-mote and the result visual effect is cool as hell. He explains in a very easy to understand manner of how realistic visual perspectives can enhance the gaming experience.

If game developers are watching this, they should definitely consider perspective bending like this to be the next evolution of features in future gaming and consoles. Its just way too cool to ignore…not to mention very cost effective to market ($$$).

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates on my part. Just got home and with the holidays around it’s been rough. When you work a shit retail job (like me) this is the busiest time of the year. Angry Video Game Nerd

This guy is funny as hell.

One more post for the night. I am a huge fan of James Rolfe and his work. Especially his angry nerd stuff. He has posted a new holiday special here: Angry Video Game Nerd.

I have been watching this guys stuff for close to two years. Word of caution, if you are offended by poop humor or harsh language, the ‘Nerd’ is not for you. He is basically a guy who reviews crappy games (most of which, are from the Nintendo and Atari Era) and goes on and on about how horrible they are. Some people get tired of his constant swearing, but I actually find it quite funny.
